The DS-2B Snow Sensing Controller will automatically activate your HeatTrak Industrial Heating Mat system at the first sign of snow. More than just a temperature sensor, this device will activate when it snows and remain on for an additional 5 hours after the snow has stopped. The controller must be hardwired into the outlet by a certified electrician. The DS-2B can be installed on either a 120V or a 240V circuit.

  • Automatically activates HeatTrak Mats at the first sign of snow
  • Turns on mats when it senses moisture and temperature goes below 38 degrees F
  • Can be installed on either a 120-volt or 240-volt circuit; handles up to 30 amps
  • Override switch allows you to bypass the sensor
